New Cars for 2015: Jaguar 

F-type (shown above): A proper gentleman always wears a hat, just as a proper sports car always bears a roof. Beyond improving on the already-beautiful lines of the convertible, the fixed-roof F-type dials up the performance, at least in top-trim spec. The 550-hp F-type R coupe claims a 55-hp advantage on the V-8 S droptop while the V-6 S and V-6 variants match the convertible with 380 and 340 horsepower. Too pedestrian for you? Well, next year, Jag will produce 250 F-type Project 7 roadsters. The Project 7 is 175 pounds lighter than an F-type S roadster thanks to some carbon-fiber body panels, a cut-down windshield, and the lack of a real top. It’s powered by a 567-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 and wears a front splitter, rear wing, and a bodywork hump behind the driver in the fashion of the old Jag D-type. You’ll have to write a check for $160,000 to get one. We hope you like blue, red, black, white, or British Racing Green, because those will be the only available colors. And those decals? They’re standard.
